Dear Friends in Faith,
It is my pleasure to share with you the 2025 Report on the St. Francis Xavier Fund for Missionary Parishes (SFX Fund)—one of Foundations in Faith’s eleven ministries.
Bishop Caggiano has described the work of the SFX Fund as “transformative” and a story that all the faithful should know. The Fund is unique in both its spirit and its responsiveness: SFX grants often address urgent and immediate parish needs, with applications sometimes reviewed and approved within 24 hours, and funds transferred within just three days.
The SFX Fund specifically focuses on nine parishes that face significant socio-economic challenges yet continue to nurture vibrant ministries and powerful missionary outreach. These parishes embody the Gospel call to serve, and the Fund ensures they have the resources to sustain and expand their mission.
